Q. What does the term "web hosting" mean?
A. Web hosting refers to a website being placed on a special computer that allows the website to be seen on the internet. A website must have a web hoster or the website cannot be seen on the internet. For more information on hosting click here.
Q. Does ProKreat offer web development packages?

Q. I have information on my website that needs to be updated frequently. Does ProKreat have website maintenance plans available?
A. Yes. Just as we have website development packages available to cater to your need, we also have different maintenance plans. Click here to find the website package that's right for you.
Q. I have an office that I need networked together. What is the price to have a ProKreat technician come out and get my office set up?
A. Because offices and technical needs vary, ProKreat handles these rates on a case by case senario. A support agent will send a quote to you within 24 hours.
Q. What is the normal turn-around time that ProKreat can develop a web presence?
A. Turn-around time on web projects depends on the type of project. For instance our basic web packages (which dont include programming) has a ten hour development cap, our value package has a 20 hour development cap, and our pro package has a 30 hour development cap in which we will guarantee site completion within these times frames. However, if your site is a "special order" such as an e-commerce website or user involved website it can take as long as one month for site completion depending on your needs and requirements.
Q. Can I sign up for a maintenence agreement for technical support for my office network and/or website?
A. Certainly! As a matter of fact we suggest that you do. Technology is fast paced yet there are certain times when a system fails to provide 100% perfection, resulting in system malfunctions. Fortunately ProKreat has a maintenance plan to fit every business need, whether it be for your office networking system or website maintenance. Q. What do I need to do to have a website?
A. First, you need to register your domain name (ex. "www.yourbusinessname.com") and you can do this at any domain name registry (do a google search at www.google.com and type in "domain name registry"). We have an affiliate company that we refer our clients to at www.hostica.com and they register domian names for $13.00/year! Once you have registered your domain name, all you need is website hosting (where the website lives) for your website and we can provide this service to you for $15.00/month. See website hosting for more information on this. Once these two very inportant steps are taken care of you are well on your way to having your website on the internet.
